Workers’ compensation benefits are the "exclusive" remedy of the employee against their employer for on-the-job injuries in Workers’ Compensation Court, meaning that an employee who claims workers’ compensation benefits cannot sue the employer for more money later. No attorney fee is awarded by the court unless the Client is awarded money in his/her case. In addition to the attorneys, the staff includes a New York State licensed compensation representative. We are located one block from the State Office Building in Hornell where the compensation cases are heard. The client has the option of choosing where their case can be heard through the Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB).
